Established in 2015, the Polish Agroforestry Association (OSA) is currently the leading organisation in Poland focused on agroforestry. OSA is involved in several research platforms such as the AFINET RAIN group and the SustainFARM stakeholder platform. OSA gathers together farmers agronomists, foresters and business stakeholders from across the country, organising workshops for researchers and farmers to work together and establish agroforestry systems.

OSA is a member of the Polish Network for Innovation in Agriculture and Rural Areas, collaborating in the dissemination of agroforestry innovations and agroecological knowledge through national social media channels. OSA cooperates closely with the Institute of Soil Science and Plant Cultivation – State Research Institute (IUNG-PIB), supervised by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Organic Agriculture Forum, and the Association of Cattle Producers in Małopolskie region (Carpathians) comprising silvopastoral farmers.
