The Progressive Farming Trust Ltd., trading as the Organic Research Centre (ORC) is the UK’s leading independent research centre for the development of agroecological and organic solutions to key global issues including climate change, soil and biodiversity conservation. ORC’s priority is to engage end-users, and to do so, research is frequently carried out in collaboration with farmers.

The ORC’s multi-disciplinary and collaborative research covers a range of topics including agroforestry, livestock and crop production, farm sustainability assessments, and markets policy, with a strong focus on knowledge exchange.
