Established in 2010, the Network for Rural Development of Serbia (NRDS) is a non-governmental and non-profit organisation aiming to improve the quality of life and balance regional development in rural areas of Serbia. NRDS’s supports activism and participatory democracy in rural communities to ensure good living conditions, build capacity, and to preserve and develop the values and advantages of rural communities in Serbia.

The NRDS is a member of the Balkan Rural Development Network (http://www.brdnetwork.org/) and the PREPARE network (http://www.preparenetwork.org/).
