The Institute for Applied Material Flow Management (IfaS) is a research institute within Hochschule Trier university in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. IfaS is based in the Umwelt-Campus Birkenfeld, and carries out research on the following topics: New materials and components, operational management, energy management, planning and design, modelling and simulation, and monitoring and balancing.
