Agroecology Europe (AEEU) is an international non-profit organisation registered in accordance with the Belgian law since September 2016, with roughly 150 members to date, including NGOs, universities, students, PhD candidates, individuals, etc.

Agroecology Europe analyses, designs, develops and promotes the transition towards agroecology-based farming and food systems in Europe and across the world. AEEU works to increase the prioritisation of agroecology in the EU’s frameworks for the sustainable development of farming and food systems, fostering interactions between science, practice and social movements by
facilitating knowledge sharing and action. Agroecology Europe works to create an inclusive European community of professionals, practitioners and citizens engaged in agroecology.
