Rwanda has been chosen as the host country for the 6th World Congress on Agroforestry in 2025. The announcement was made during the 5th World Congress on Agroforestry taking place in Quebec, Canada. This significant event will bring together experts, policymakers, and practitioners to discuss the integration of agroforestry for sustainable agriculture.

The Congress will be organised by the International Union for Agroforestry (IUAF), the Ministry of Environment, the Rwanda Forestry Authority and the Rwanda Convention Bureau.
